Whether you’re flying in for a long weekend or turning this into a full Florida adventure, we can’t wait to spend this special time together. Paradise Cove is a stunning lakeside venue and is just a short drive from Disney Springs and nearby resorts.

Formalities? Done. Dancing? Let’s go! Line Dances, party hits, and lots of fun! Totally optional - but highly encouraged! After all, we can’t have the bride dancing solo, can we?

The closest airport is Orlando International Airport (MCO). From the airport, the Disney Springs area and our venue are around 25 minutes by car, depending on traffic.

Airport Transport Options:

Uber / Lyft / Taxi – the easiest and most popular option (approx. 25–30 minutes)

Shuttle Services – shared or private shuttles can be booked in advance

Car Hire – ideal if you’re planning to explore Orlando and beyond

We recommend staying near Disney Springs which is packed with hotels, restaurants, bars, and entertainment. Most hotels in this area are only a 10-15 minute Uber or taxi ride from Paradise Cove.

On the big day...

Uber and Lyft are the easiest and most reliable options.

Travel time from Disney Springs hotels is usually 10-15 minutes. We recommend allowing a little extra time - just in case (Florida traffic 😅).

One tip: you can always pre-book an Uber or Lyft for the end of the night when the celebrations wrap up.

Do I require a Visa to enter the USA?

If you’re travelling from the UK, you’ll usually need to apply for an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization). We recommend applying well in advance of your trip.

How early should I arrive?

If you’re travelling a longer distance, we recommend arriving at least two days before the wedding so you can settle in, explore the area and avoid any travel stress. Travel can be unpredictable, and jet lag is a real thing…

Do I need to hire a car?

Not necessarily! Uber and Lyft are easy, affordable, and widely available. A car is handy if you plan to explore further afield.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes - there’s plenty of parking available at the venue. We’d love you to stay and celebrate with us into the evening, so we recommend a taxi if you’re planning to enjoy the bar and the dance floor.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Our wedding will take place in October, which is a gorgeous time of year in Orlando.

You can expect warm daytime temperatures with slightly cooler, comfortable evenings - perfect for an outdoor celebration.

Typical October Weather in Orlando

Daytime: mid to high 20s°C (mid-80s°F)

Evening: around 18–20°C (mid-60s°F)

Warm, sunny and far more comfortable than peak summer.

Is Disney just for kids?

Absolutely not 😄 Disney is for your inner child, rides, cocktails, and vibes at all ages.
